OnlyFans Agency in Los Angeles

Jan, founder of Elvision Studios
Los Angeles has no city income tax, so a creator here deals with California and the federal government, not a third layer. California's schedule climbs quickly though: it passes 9.3 percent at $72,724 of taxable income for a single filer. On $80,000 that means $3,878.64, against $7,211.30 for the same income in New York City. This page works through the numbers. We have no office in Los Angeles.
What we handle for creators in Los Angeles
Management is remote, in your time zone and in English or German. You make the content, we build the business around it.
- Round the clock chatA trained team writes to your fans in your voice, builds the relationship and sells pay-per-view content, including nights and weekends.
- Reach on TikTok, Instagram and RedditWe plan and post, test hooks and send new fans to your page. What works we read off the numbers, not off a hunch.
- Content and pricing strategyWe plan what you shoot, set pay-per-view prices and clean up your feed. We leave your subscription price alone unless there is a reason, because changing it kills rebills.
- Identity protection and leak checkGeoblocking if you want it, no legal name in anything fans see, and DMCA takedowns for leaks we find. The leak check is free and done by hand.
Our share is calculated on net, after OnlyFans keeps its 20 percent, and is only due in months where we beat the monthly target in your contract. The target is your own previous month. If we miss it, our share that month is zero. No setup fee, no fixed monthly cost, no minimum term, no exit fee.
California's schedule, and no city tax on top
California's 2025 rate schedule for single filers has nine brackets. It starts at 1 percent up to $11,079 of taxable income, then $110.79 plus 2 percent, $414.49 plus 4 percent over $26,264, $1,022.01 plus 6 percent over $41,452 and $1,987.41 plus 8 percent over $57,542.
From $72,724 the rate is 9.3 percent, applied to $3,201.97 of tax already accrued. Above that come 10.3 percent over $371,479, 11.3 percent over $445,771 and 12.3 percent over $742,953.
What Los Angeles does not do is add an income tax of its own. That is the opposite of New York City, where residents file a city income tax with their state return.
What Californian rates cost in practice
On $40,000 of taxable income, a single filer in Los Angeles owes $963.93 in California income tax. On $80,000 it is $3,878.64. On $150,000 it is $10,388.64.
The jump between those amounts is steeper than it looks, because $80,000 already sits in the 9.3 percent band. Every extra $1,000 of taxable income in that range costs $93 in state tax, before federal tax and self-employment tax.
The table above puts the same three amounts next to New York City. At $40,000 Los Angeles is $2,502.42 cheaper, at $80,000 $3,332.66 cheaper and at $150,000 $3,732.36 cheaper.
| City | $40,000 taxable | $80,000 taxable | $150,000 taxable |
|---|---|---|---|
| New York City (state and city) | $3,466 | $7,211 | $14,121 |
| Los Angeles (California)this page | $964 | $3,879 | $10,389 |
| Chicago (Illinois, flat 4.95 %) | $1,980 | $3,960 | $7,425 |
| Miami (Florida, no income tax) | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| Houston (Texas, no income tax) | $0 | $0 | $0 |
Where California catches up
The comparison flips at the top. California's top three bands, 10.3, 11.3 and 12.3 percent, start at $371,479, $445,771 and $742,953 of taxable income. New York State's own schedule reaches 6.85 percent at $215,400 and 9.65 percent at $1,077,550, with the city's roughly 3.876 percent on top.
For a creator in the six-figure range, Los Angeles is the cheaper of the two. For one earning several hundred thousand, the answer depends on exactly where in the bands the income lands, and that is a question for a CPA with your actual numbers.
We deliberately do not model incomes above the amounts in the table, because the interaction of deductions and credits at that level would make the figures misleading.
Self-employment tax: the same in every city
The IRS puts the self-employment tax rate at 15.3 percent, made up of 12.4 percent for Social Security and 2.9 percent for Medicare. For earnings in 2026, the Social Security part applies up to a base limit of $184,500, and an Additional Medicare Tax of 0.9 percent applies above the threshold for your filing status.
You can deduct the employer-equivalent portion of your self-employment tax when figuring your adjusted gross income.
This part does not move with your address. It is the same in Los Angeles, New York and everywhere in between.
What we do not say about the city business tax
Los Angeles does levy a business tax on gross receipts, with rates that depend on how an activity is classified, and small businesses can qualify for an exemption.
We are not putting numbers on it here. The city's tax rate pages refused every request we made, so we could not read the current rates or the exemption threshold from the source. Quoting them second hand would break the rule this whole section of the site runs on.
If the city business tax could apply to you, ask your CPA or the Office of Finance directly, and get the classification in writing.
What really decides what you keep
Before any tax rate, two deductions hit your revenue. OnlyFans keeps 20 percent of every payment: of $100 a fan pays, $80 reaches you. An agency share comes off after that, and whether it is calculated on net or gross makes a large difference at the same percentage.
At Elvision Studios our share is calculated on net, after OnlyFans' 20 percent. It is only due in months where we beat the monthly target in your contract, and the target is your own previous month. If we miss it, our share for that month is zero. There is no setup fee, no fixed monthly cost, no minimum term and no exit fee.
Our free commission calculator shows you, with your own numbers, how much growth an agency share needs to pay for itself.
Staying discreet in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is full of people who work in and around content, which cuts both ways. Nobody blinks at a ring light, but the industry is small and word travels, and the city's backdrops are among the most recognisable anywhere.
If you want, we block the United States on OnlyFans, so users located there generally do not see your page. If that is too much of your market, we can block a narrower set of countries instead and work on what appears in your backgrounds.
Blocking does not stop VPNs or leaks. Our free leak check means our team searches manually for where your content appears, sends you a report within 24 to 48 hours and files DMCA takedown requests for every leak found.
Questions to settle early with a CPA
For the California examples to apply to you, a few questions deserve early answers.
First, what your taxable income is after the deductions you can take, since every figure here starts there. Second, whether the Los Angeles business tax applies to your activity and whether you qualify for an exemption. Third, whether you should make quarterly estimated payments. Fourth, how platform payouts are reported and how an agency share is recorded as an expense.
How we start with a Los Angeles creator
One sentence on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email is enough, or fill in the free profile audit if you would rather not write first. We reply within 24 hours, in your time zone.
In the audit we look at your page and your numbers. You get a concrete list of what we would change and an honest yes or no. The audit is free, with no minimum revenue and no minimum follower count.
If we work together, the monthly target is written into the contract before we start, and you get your numbers every week. With a 9.3 percent band starting at $72,724, knowing where your year is heading is worth real money.
No office in Los Angeles

There are no in-person meetings. The first conversation and the day-to-day work run on WhatsApp.
Questions from Los Angeles
Does Los Angeles have a city income tax?
No. Creators in Los Angeles pay California income tax and federal tax, with no city income tax on their income. The city does levy a business tax on gross receipts, which is a separate question.
How much California tax does a creator pay on $80,000?
With $80,000 of taxable income and single filing status, $3,878.64 under the 2025 schedule. Federal income tax and self-employment tax come on top.
Is Los Angeles cheaper than New York City for taxes?
At the incomes most creators are in, yes. On $80,000 of taxable income the difference is $3,332.66, because New York City adds its own income tax on top of the state's.
When does California's 9.3 percent rate start?
At $72,724 of taxable income for a single filer under the 2025 schedule. From there, each extra $1,000 of taxable income costs $93 in state tax.
How much is self-employment tax?
The IRS puts it at 15.3 percent: 12.4 percent Social Security and 2.9 percent Medicare. For 2026 the Social Security part applies up to $184,500 of earnings, with an extra 0.9 percent Medicare tax above the threshold for your filing status.
Which California band am I in at $150,000?
The 9.3 percent one, which starts at $72,724 of taxable income. The tax is $3,201.97 plus 9.3 percent of the excess, so $10,388.64. The next band, 10.3 percent, only begins at $371,479.
Does this page include federal tax?
No. Every figure here is California income tax only. Federal income tax and the 15.3 percent self-employment tax come on top, and both are the same in every American city, which is what makes the state comparison meaningful.
Do I need to live in Los Angeles to work with Elvision Studios?
No. We work remotely with creators everywhere. This page exists because California's rates differ from New York's; our work is the same wherever you live.
What does working with Elvision Studios cost?
Our share is calculated on net and only due if we beat the monthly target, which is your own previous month. No setup fee, no minimum term, no exit fee. The percentage is agreed in the first conversation.
