When are my fans online if I live in Germany?

The first wave is the easy one. Germany, Austria and Switzerland share a time zone, so the German-speaking evening after work is your evening too. A creator who answers her own messages can cover it, at least on the days she has the energy for it.

The second wave is the hard one. Berlin is six hours ahead of New York and nine ahead of Los Angeles, so nine in the evening in New York is three in the morning in Berlin, and the West Coast evening reaches you around six. For a few weeks in spring and autumn the gap is an hour shorter, because Europe and the United States change their clocks on different dates. If your page also speaks English, a good part of your income is decided while you sleep.
