How do I stay anonymous as a creator in Japan?

Geoblocking is the part that works in your favour. Most of the fans who pay on an international page are in the United States and Europe, so blocking Japan hides the page from the people most likely to recognise you without cutting into the audience that pays. It is set in your profile's settings, and we set it up with you. It does not stop VPNs, and it does nothing for content reposted elsewhere, so it is one layer and not the whole wall.

The other layers are the usual ones, done carefully. No face if you do not want one. No recognisable streets, rooms, station names or shop signs in the frame. A separate email address, phone number and ideally a separate phone for the page, and no photo that has ever appeared on your private accounts.

One rule matters more in Japan than elsewhere, because a creator there may already have a page on a Japanese platform. Never reuse that page's alias, photos or handles on the international one.
